Windows & Doors for new Surfcoast Multi-Purpose Stadium in White Street, Torquay
Innovative Window Solutions met the tight deadline of December 2020 completion for the manufacture and installation of Commercial Frontline Structurally Glazed Aluminium Window and Door systems for the new Surfcoast Stadium at Surf Coast Secondary College.
This Stadium adds three courts to an existing single-court Stadium. Also housed in the Stadium are a café’, change facilities and meeting rooms. IWS was sub-contracted by Nicholson Constructions for the project which exhibits a modern architectural design that blends with the character of the existing school buildings. It will be available for use by the whole community for sporting competition and local events.
The Stadium had a $13.5 million total project cost and was funded by $5m Australian Governments’ Building Better Regions Fund, $3m Victorian Governments’ Better Indoor Stadiums Fund, $2.6 Local Council contribution and Developer Contributions of $2.9m.
